Enhance Your Network - Sharpen Your Skills
Recording Your Scorecard
As a participant in the CEO Life-long Learning Program you will record your activities to earn experiential credit. There are three categories of experiences that you can earn credit for, including:

  • Educational Experiences (e.g. workshops, seminars, bootcamps, courses, reading competency-specific literature, etc.);
  • Milestone Experiences (e.g. raising angel financing, completing an acquisition, achieving certain revenue goals, etc.); and
  • Other Experiences (e.g. presenting at a tradeshow, hiring a new CXO team member, etc.)
You simply record the number of applicable credits for each event or experience that you engage in. For educational experiences, a set credit schedule is used. For milestone and other experiences, you must self-evaluate, selecting a credit value for each milestone and other experience and applying those credits to the applicable competency category.

As you develop your competencies, you will progress through and be recognized for achieving certain stages, represented by CEO belt colours ranging from orange to black, similar to many martial arts designations.

When you believe you have completed a stage of your development by acquiring the required number of credits, you may elect to have your experience record evaluated by the Certificate Assessment Board. Here your point allocations for educational, milestone and other experiences will be evaluated and, if approved, you will be granted your CEO Certificate of Achievement and Belt Colour for the appropriate stage of development and invited to attend the next award event.
